Sixteenth Haven Non-Profit
What does Sixteenth Haven do?
Our mission is to support, guide, and empower teens who have experienced sexual assault by providing safe, confidential, and trauma informed services. We work to ensure that every teen has access to emotional support, education, advocacy, and resources that promote healing, resilience, and long term well being. Through community outreach and prevention programs, we strive to create a culture that prioritizes safety, respect, and the voices of young survivors.
Our foundation is a big believer in policy reform, especially within the justice system. In the coming years as the support behind our movement grows, we will fight for a much needed reform of our systems and the laws regarding sexual assault.
I created this foundation with survivors at the forefront of every decision made. At Sixteenth Haven the goal is to empower, support and guide young women through a well rounded approach to healing. We understand that what may work for one person, may not work for another. This is why we have done extensive research on different types of counseling and treatments regarding assault survivors and work with you to create the best plan for you.
